We take a handful of commissions each month alongside the collection. Anything from a board cut to fit a specific worktop recess, to forty engraved pieces for a company, to a species we would otherwise never buy.
Gifts that do not get thrown away.
We build runs of engraved boards for companies who would rather give one thing that lasts than forty things that do not. A logo goes on the underside, not the face: the person who receives it should own a board, not an advertisement.
Twenty pieces is our practical minimum for a run, and eight weeks is the honest lead time. We will send one sample board before the rest are cut.
Most people just want The Signature.
If you are not sure a commission is worth the wait, it usually is not. The collection covers almost everything people write to us about, and a Signature board leaves the workshop in three to four weeks rather than eight.
